FOCUSED NUTRITION CONSULTATION

When a single consultation is enough

Ongoing coaching is valuable when a strategy needs to be tested and adapted over time. Some questions can be resolved in one well-prepared session. Before we meet, you provide the information relevant to your topic. I review it in advance so our time can focus on analysis, decisions and practical next steps.

Suitable consultation topics

  • Daily fueling or recovery review
  • Race- or game-day nutrition
  • Carbohydrate loading
  • Hydration and electrolyte planning
  • Gastrointestinal problems during exercise
  • Supplement review
  • Body-composition strategy
  • Macronutrient or meal-structure guidance
  • Gluten-free sports nutrition
  • Travel or demanding-workday nutrition

What is included

  • Short pre-consultation questionnaire
  • Review of relevant food, training or symptom information
  • 60-minute private online consultation
  • Clear priorities and practical recommendations
  • Concise written action summary after the session

If your question requires clinical diagnosis or treatment, I will tell you before booking and direct you to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

How it works

1. Submit your question

Explain the issue, your goal and any relevant deadline or competition date.

2. Send the relevant information

Depending on the question, I may request a short food log, training details, current products or previous strategies.

3. Meet and leave with a plan

We use the session to clarify the issue, evaluate realistic options and define your next actions. You receive a written summary after the call.

When ongoing coaching is the better fit

A 12-week partnership is usually more appropriate when:

  • Several nutrition priorities interact
  • The strategy needs testing across different training conditions
  • Body composition and performance need to be managed together
  • Gastrointestinal tolerance requires systematic experimentation
  • You want accountability and regular adjustment

If that becomes clear during the consultation, I will explain why. There is no obligation to continue.

FAQ

Is this suitable for a last-minute race question?

Potentially. A clear question can often be addressed efficiently, but unfamiliar fueling products or major changes should not be introduced immediately before competition. Book as early as possible so there is time to test the strategy.

Will I receive a complete meal plan?

The consultation focuses on one defined issue. You may receive meal examples, targets or a practical framework, depending on the question. A full personalised nutrition system belongs within ongoing coaching.

Do you support race-day and game-day nutrition?

Yes. Send the product names, ingredient labels and doses in advance. The review considers evidence, individual need, safety and sporting regulations.

Can you diagnose a deficiency or gastrointestinal condition?

No. Diagnosis and medical treatment require an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. I can review your nutrition context, identify concerns that warrant clinical assessment and help you prepare practical questions for your clinician.

Can I upgrade to coaching afterwards?

Yes, subject to availability. If the consultation identifies a need for ongoing work, I can recommend the appropriate coaching format.

Bring the question that is keeping you uncertain. Leave with clear priorities.
